Project Manager

Tagkast, a social word-of-mouth software platform for event & experiential marketing, seeks an exceptional Project Manager to oversee the strategic planning and operational execution of Tagkast supported activations.

Our overall objective is to encourage consumer sharing of event brand experiences on social media and to increase word-of-mouth awareness for our customers. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing event activations to meet this objective. The ideal candidate is experienced in leadership, client management and managing critical situations, has high energy, and is results-oriented with a creative and analytical mind. The candidate should be passionate about the event-marketing industry.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

• Effectively lead projects to integrate Tagkast into client’s event marketing strategy while building positive professional relationships with client teams.
• Work with client to define objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to structure activations.
• Develop and drive project/activation plans, aligning tactics with strategy.
• Plan, schedule, and control project timelines with active problem-solving to course correct any missed deadlines.
• Hire, train & lead high performance teams of Tagkast Brand Ambassadors to achieve project goals.
• Manage risk within client projects, ensuring risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage client projects with in established scope and budget. Meticulously track expenses.
• Facilitate and lead effective meetings to review project/activation plans with senior leadership.
• Develop deep understanding of the Tagkast product and features. Identify new opportunities for the product.
• On-site management and coordination of key client event activations.
• Source and liaise with vendors
• Travel and weekend work required – 80%-90%

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or science discipline. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• 3-5 years of project management or agency account team experience.
• Strong competencies in planning and organization with the ability to lead multiple activities and resources while maintaining a focus on quality.
• Experience developing, leading and managing field teams and working remotely.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with a broad spectrum of audiences at all organizational levels.
• Ability to produce and present clear, concise and professionally written communications and presentations.
• Sense of team spirit.
• Able to work extended hours, late nights and weekends as dictated by events and willing to travel as much as 80% – 90% of the time.

Enterprise Account Executive

Major Responsibilities/Activities

• Identify and prospect national event sponsors and agencies through outbound email, phone calls, tradeshows and networking
• Educate them about Tagkast and articulate the cost/benefit value proposition we provide against their status quo
• Qualify interested leads and schedule needs analysis discussions for either phone calls or in-person meetings
• Analyze client needs and create proposals to drive measurable KPIs for customers; negotiate and close contracts
• Attend event technology and sponsorship tradeshows to generate new business
• Develop and maintain client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
• 3-4 years selling event marketing services or related product to corporate event marketing teams and event marketing agencies
• Demonstrated track record of success in your previous sales role – top 10% performers
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Passion for event marketing and social media

• Willingness to travel to client for in-person meetings

Senior Software Engineer (Android)

Major Responsibilities/Activities

• Create and maintain existing Android and web-based application software
• Assess feasibility of new product feature requests
• Create unit/automated testing for platform and assist in QA responsibilities
• Own the entire product lifecycle from inception through development to maintenance and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
• 3-4 years Android development experience – Advanced/Expert Only; 5+ years of total development experience
• Expert Level at Android/JAVA
• Experience utilizing RESTFUL web servers and experience with Agile methodologies a plus
• Experience with Ruby, Java Script, Angular JS a plus
• Experience with memory management, media file creation/manipulation/optimization, and social network integrations a plus
• Strong communication, critical thinking and project management skills
• Passion for event marketing and social media
